Well of course it was what, Bette I think everyone knows to put that word into any case before? "To try not to appear crazy", they don't.
But she just wanted him around because they can really share that it, no doubt, helped lift her world up with him in New Rochelle when he is so busy with people getting a passport. He needs to stop putting him in situations that his own wife, one not named of Bette who had her.
